“I wanted to tell you how delighted we are with Isabella and Ferdinand. Spanish is my first language, and my husband and I vowed that we would raise our children in a bilingual household, which we are doing. We were struggling, however, to find a bilingual program to support our 3-year-old’s burgeoning language capacity and were so happy to have found your program. Lucas just loves it! He felt immediately comfortable with the setting and the teachers, and comes home singing the songs he’s learned–totalmente en Español, por supuesto! Isabella & Ferdinand’s focus on the cultural aspect of learning a language is truly what sets it apart from other language programs. Thank you for being there when we needed you!”

“Isabella & Ferdinand has proven to be a wonderful cultural and linguistic experience for my children. The program is terrific for children with and without a Spanish-language background, and expands a child’s world through cultural activities—both in the classroom, as well as the many organized activities outside the classroom!”

“Itza came to I&F at the age of 4 after being in a Spanish immersion daycare then transitioning to English PreK. She was starting to lose the ability to speak and understand Spanish. With the support of Maira Abasto and the rich curriculum from I&F, Itza is ready to join students who have had K-3 Spanish daily immersion school. This is such a wonderful accomplishment as Itza also had ADD. I was told by a behavioral specialist that I should give up on her ever learning a second language and to just be satisfied that she would learn English. This proves that children with special needs can share the gift of language alongside their neurotypical peers. I could not be more overjoyed with her progress and I look forward to helping her pass her DELE exams one day with the support I&F”

“The Spanish immersion classes at Isabella & Ferdinand are enjoyable, entertaining and culturally educational. In addition to learning another language at a young age, the program provides for a challenging yet fun environment to grow and learn. We especially love how you incorporate the extracurricular cultural activities with the learning of the language. The overall energy and dedication you bring to program is amazing.”

I'm happy to inform you that our experience with Isabella & Ferdinand for our 10-year-old daughter has been terrific. I don't exactly remember when we started, but our daughter must have been 4 years old, possibly even younger.

As a Spanish speaker, Felicity already knew Spanish when she started. Currently, we don't speak Spanish frequently at home, but we visit Spain for several weeks every year. Isabella & Ferdinand has allowed her to maintain her fluency and continue to grow. She attends classes twice a week because it's important to us that she continues to progress. She thoroughly enjoys the classes, whether they are private or group sessions with one or two other children. Before COVID, she also participated in in-person classes on Saturdays, which she also enjoyed, but online classes are more convenient for us now that her weekends are quite busy.

I wholeheartedly recommend Isabella & Ferdinand without any reservations. All the best,

-Elisa
