2025 SUMMER CAMP EXPERIENCE
WEEK 1
Isabella & Ferdinand® Academia de Español™ is thrilled to share the incredible fun we had at our 2025 Summer Camp, Explorers Adventure!
During our first week of Summer Camp, our young explorers dove into the rich culture of the Andes! Through hands-on projects, they learned about traditional textiles, Andean animals, Incan architecture, and even created their own quipus and Peruvian dolls — all while practicing Spanish in a fun, immersive environment.
Our week included two exciting field trips: a nature adventure at Glen Echo Park and a wildlife exploration at the Smithsonian National Zoo, where campers expanded their Spanish vocabulary while connecting with the natural world.
It was a week full of creativity, critical thinking, cultural discovery, and lots of smiles!
